Drift Collective

I worked with Drift Collective, a New England–based fashion brand focused on reducing textile waste through upcycling and garment reconstruction. In this role, I supported production by using sewing and embroidery techniques to transform secondhand clothing into new, wearable pieces. This included repairing damage or stains, and redesigning each item with patchwork, embroidery, and reclaimed fabric.

I also worked directly with customers who brought in their own clothing for custom upcycling, collaborating with them to develop design ideas that aligned with their vision while maintaining the brand’s aesthetic. This experience strengthened my ability to combine technical garment skills with creative problem-solving, producing pieces that were both sustainable and visually cohesive with Drift Collective’s identity.
